From September 27 to 28, CNDA organized a technical working meeting on the "processing and manufacturing site management" of ITER PAs in Chengdu. Nearly 90 representatives from 11 suppliers, including Southwest Institute of Physics, Institute of Plasma Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, etc., attended the meeting discussion. Sun Jian, deputy head of CNDA and Tong Honghui, Vice Director of SWIP attended and addressed the meeting.

The meeting invited experts from Electric Energy (Beijing) Engineering Supervision Co., Ltd. to give professional presentations on site management, equipment management, enterprise logo management and so on. During the meeting, suppliers also shared their work experience related to ITER project, and discussed in detail on problem-solving issues.

After a two-day of study and exchange, suppliers have systematic understandings of the importance of on-site management and the role of on-site management in improving product quality and work efficiency. Suppliers expressed that in the follow-up ITER contract implementation process, they will further strengthen the processing and manufacturing site management to ensure the high quality and efficient completion of ITER products.
