Introduction:

The ITER 400kV substation include PPEN and SSEN, the PPEN is called “Pulse Power electrical network” or "Pulse Power High Voltage Substation", which supplies the pulse electric power to the Tokomak coil power supply system and auxiliary heating system, whereas the SSEN is known as “Steady State Electrical Network” that supplies the general electric power to the Steady State customers for signal control, LV distribution electrical power for building etc.. CNDA is responsible for the supply of all the PPEN components according to the Procurement Arrangement signed on June 20th, 2012. 

On 20th June, 2012, PPEN PA was signed by IO and CNDA: The 4.1.P1B PA of PPEN is officially signed between CNDA and IO on June 20th 2012.
