DELONG LUO

LUO Delong, Researcher, Doctor of Management, is Director-General (since 2005) of China International Nuclear Fusion Energy Program Execution Center (ITER China Domestic Agency), the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), and Executive Director of Chinese Nuclear Society, receives the special allowance granted by the State Council. Dr. LUO has successively worked for the Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of China, State Scientific and Technological Commission of The People's Republic of China, Department of International Cooperation of MOST, Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Kingdom of Norway, High Tech Research and Development Center of MOST, and China International Nuclear Fusion Energy Program Execution Center. Since 2003, Dr. LUO led the Chinese team to join the ITER Project negotiations and established the China International Nuclear Fusion Energy Program Execution Center in 2008 to organize and carry out the domestic project management and implementation of ITER Project. Since 2008, Dr. LUO has served as a member of the ITER Council (IC). He served successively as vice-chairman of the Management Advisory Committee (MAC) of IC, vice-chairman, and chairman of IC.
